Sheu, a 400-level student from the Faculty of Law is the immediate past President of the Intellectual Property Club UDUS and a current Senator at the National Law Students' Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN).
In a chat with INTER-WATCH, Sheu highlighted that the major challenge he faced before his victory as the National President of the IP club was resigning from his role as the chapter president of the same club in Danfodiyo Versity while pursuing his dream as National President unsure of his victory.
He further explained that his source of motivation was his enthusiasm to major in the field of Intellectual Property Law (IPL) or being an IP Attorney, knowing full well he will have the opportunity to lead IP base projects and incentives which will improve his networking. He stated that Intellectual Property needs to be advocated on within the Northern States that has little or no awareness for IP.
He promised that his administration has lined up activities for the coming years, ranging from webinars, workshops, internships and even extending to the Street Law Campaign and outreaches. He conclusively admonished those who see him as a mentor saying greatness is in them and they should use the narrow opportunity they have wisely.
"They shouldn't give up on their dream, a step is what is needed to win
regardless of the odd." He said.
