Taofeek Ọlálékan Ògúnpérí - Columnist
Taofeek Ọlálékan Ògúnpérí (also written as Taofeek Olalekan Ogunperi or Taofeek Ogunperi) is a creative writer born and brought up in Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria. He studied Literature-in-English at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, where he served as the Public Relations Officer of the Students' Union in his penultimate year and the Chairman of the Electoral Commission of the Students' Union in his final year. Taofeek's research explores born-digital and re/mediated literature, film, sociopolitical texts, digital platforms and culture. When Taofeek is not busy pursuing something in academia or creative writing, he watches FC Barcelona play or sees a movie. Some other times, he volunteers in diverse SDG causes.
