The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced that registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into all undergraduate programmes will commence on Monday, June 15, and close on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Candidates are required to pay a screening fee of ₦2,000 and an application fee of ₦3,000 to participate in the exercise.
According to the university, eligibility for the screening is restricted to candidates who selected UNILAG as their first-choice institution in the 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 200. Applicants must also hold five credit passes in relevant O-level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, all from one sitting.
The university warned that it will withdraw the admission of any admitted student who tests positive for drug use whenever tests are conducted, whether before or after registration.
Who Is Eligible for UNILAG 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening?
Candidates who made the University of Lagos their first choice in the 2026/2027 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to apply for post-UTME online screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O-level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Only candidates who have uploaded their O/Level results on JAMB CAPS and the UNILAG application portal on or before Friday, August 14, 2026, will be considered for admission.
- Candidates who will not be sixteen (16) years of age by 30th September, 2026, are not eligible and need not apply.
- Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME Online Aptitude Test will not be considered for admission.
- Candidates must use their personal and active emails to register for the Post-UTME screening, as this will be the channel for communication.
- Former students of the university whose admissions were withdrawn based on poor academic performance or absence status could reapply on condition that the new admission shall be for a new programme/course different from the former programme/course.
- Any student expelled from the university cannot be offered fresh admission.

Eligible candidates should log on to the University of Lagos application portal via applications.unilag.edu.ng and then take the following steps:
- Click "Start New Application."
- Under "Application Type," select "Undergraduate."
- Log in with your UTME application number as the username and your surname in lowercase as the password.
- Generate and print the payment advice.
- Proceed to any commercial bank to make a payment, or pay online.
- Return to the university portal to complete the screening form.
- Print the Post-UTME Examination Pass.
