The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the activation of its online portal, Inec Portal for the Engagement of Election Staff (INECPRES) for the recruitment of ad-hoc staff for the 2027 general election.
The commission disclosed this information in a public notice on its official X handle, notifying members of the public who wish to participate as ad-hoc staff in the upcoming general election.
According to the notice, the INECPRES portal for interested applicants was activated on Friday, September 18, 2026 and the application window will close on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at midnight.
Furthermore, The commission explained that applicants using laptop or desktop computers can have access to the web version of the platform through the INECPRES portal.
“The web version (using a laptop and desktop) shall be accessible via the portal URL:pres.inecnigeria.org,” and “the Android mobile App. shall be accessible via the link inecnigeria.org/pres.apk or inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk,” it stated.
