Ismaila Biliaminu Manne, a correspondent of the Observersmag at Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto, Nigeria, has been shortlisted to attend the West Africa Journalism Innovation Conference (WAJIC'23).
The conference which is set to hold between 24th and 26th July 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria is a platform for collaboration, networking, and fostering meaningful connections that will develop the landscape of journalism in West Africa.
It will bring together over 300 journalists, media professionals, academics, policymakers, and government institutions, all united by the common goal of nurturing innovation for a sustainable future. Expressing his feeling, Biliaminu said, “I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to attend the conference which will feature workshops, expert panels, and explore media innovations and technological tools that can fortify journalism practice and also improve the accountability of journalism in West Africa”.
"I'm looking forward to attending the conference, I am keen to learn a lot from the conference," he reiterated.
