UDUS Management Bans Ex-Boys, Ex-Jam, Ex-Commandos Associations' Activities

In a memo dated 6th November 2023, the Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), deregistered and banned the activities of Ex-Boys, Ex-Jam, and Ex-Commandos Association Activities in the University's Campuses.

The de-registration and banning of the associations were disclosed to the general public in an internal memo titled; "De-registration and Banning of All Activities of Ex-Boys, Ex-Jam and Ex-Commandos Association in Usmanu Danfodiyo University Campuses," and signed by the Deputy Dean, Main Campus, Dr  Tukur M. Mukhtar for the Dean Students Affairs Decision.

The internal memo reads thus; "Reference to the management's decision dated August 28, 2023; I wish to inform you the General University Community that the Ex-Boys, Ex-Jam, and Ex-Commandos Associations are hereby deregistered in all campuses of the University. Consequently, all activities of the Ex-Boys, Ex-Jam, and Ex-Commandos in the University Campuses are hereby banned till further notice. Thank You."



Moreover, the internal memo is stated to be distributed to the VC, DVC (Administration), DVC (Academic), DVC (I. R & D), Registrar, Chief Security Officer, Student Affairs Officer, Hall Admin, SU CTC Chairman, President of Ex-Boys, President of Ex-Jam, President of Ex-Commandos, and Notice Boards.
