The Governing Council of Osun State University has recently made significant appointments, ushering in a new era of leadership at the institution. In a press release by the University's Public Relations’ Officer, Ademola Adesoji, it was announced that Mrs. Atinuke Abosede Oguntunde has been appointed as the 3rd substantive Registrar, Mr. Muideen Akintayo Lasisi as the 3rd Substantive Bursar, and Dr. Olugbenga Wale Adewuyi as the 3rd Substantive University Librarian.
Mrs. Atinuke Oguntunde, the newly appointed Registrar, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role, having served as the Deputy Registrar and College Secretary at the University’s College of Health Sciences. With academic qualifications from reputable institutions and a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria, Mrs. Oguntunde is poised to lead with excellence.
Mr. Muideen Akintayo Lasisi, the new Bursar, boasts over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, previously serving as a Deputy Bursar at the National Open University of Nigeria. His academic background includes qualifications from esteemed institutions, making him a valuable addition to UNIOSUN's financial management team.
Dr. Olugbenga Wale Adewuyi, the appointed University Librarian, is recognized for his scholarly contributions and dedication to library sciences. With academic qualifications including a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science, Dr. Adewuyi is set to enhance the academic and research environment at the university.
These appointments, approved by the Governing Council after a rigorous selection process, signify UNIOSUN's commitment to academic excellence and institutional advancement.
